Barnabas Days orginated as a shortened version of Tekoa's Barnabas summer camp. These days include all the favorite camp activities: arts and crafts, fishing, paddle boats, front porch chilling, and enjoying time together with new and old friends. Barnabas Days are specifically designed with the neuro-diverse community in mind.
These days were created to help build community within adults and children with developmental disabilities. All are welcome! Parents/guardians and caretakers are required to stay on site for the duration of the event.
The first ever Barnabas Day was October 23, 2020! Our second day of fun took place on February 26, 2021. The next scheduled event is April 30, 2021! Each day is 12:00-4:00pm.
Registration is open for April 30- register here!
Tekoa Foothills recommends that all guests wear closed-toed shoes for outdoor programming. Masks are required for entrance into buildings. In the event of inclement weather, we will inform participants of any cancellations ahead of time if possible. As the activities are all outside, it is suggested that everyone bring a change of clothes, a raincoat, and an umbrella just in case!
