The facilities include campsites along the creek, campsites in wooded areas, and campsites in open fields, an enchanting bamboo forest, three lodges, a garden, an outdoor pool and pool house, a zipline over the water, ax throwing targets, an archery field, miles of hiking trails, a challenge course, a basketball court, a lake, and a smaller pond. 

During summer camp, program offerings include day camps, overnight camps for middle school and elementary school students, and missions camps for middle school and high school students. Outside of the summer season, the facilities are available for groups to rent for the day or overnight.

Five Tekoa Foothills Activity Highlights

We have several on-site activities, any of which would all be a great addition to your next retreat or day trip.  

1. Water Activities

During the warmer months, there are many adventures to be had on our lake. Explore the lake on one of three types of boats, including paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes. There is also a swimming area and a giant inflatable water slide. 

2. The Lake Zipline 

The lake zipline begins on the shoreline and goes across the lake, and is one of our most popular activities. In addition to the lake swimming area, we also have an outdoor pool available to our guests.

3. Challenge Course 

The low ropes course consists of several elements meant to challenge groups to work together and build a stronger team. From corporate groups to school groups, the challenge course is beneficial for all ages, and everyone who participates will come away from the experience, having learned valuable lessons about communication and teamwork.

4. Target Sports 

Try throwing a tomahawk at our ax throwing range or hit a bullseye at archery. 

5. Orienteering

We provide the compasses, and you get to embark on our Tekoa Foothills treasure hunt.

• For those looking to completely unplug, our campus contains multiple campsites for tent camping. Some campsites are located in open fields, perfect for stargazing, while others are in wooded areas and along the creek. 

  • Campsites can be reserved for just ten dollars per tent, so families, boy scout/girl scout troops, and others can affordably enjoy our campus in this way.

  • If you would like to camp but you don’t have the necessary equipment, we can even supply you with tents and outdoor cooking equipment for an affordable rate. 
  • In addition to free parking, there is also a bathroom in the pool house, which is available to those who are utilizing one of our campsites.
• There are three lodges available to rent, which can accommodate between twenty-five and sixty guests. Each of the lodges boasts large living rooms/gathering spaces, porches with seating, indoor fireplaces/outdoor fire pits, fully stocked kitchens, and indoor bathrooms.
  • For corporate teams, the gathering spaces provide the perfect location for meetings or brainstorming sessions. When it’s time for a break, teams can step outside and easily access one of the on-site hiking trails, which will surely get the creative juices flowing.
  • Youth groups will enjoy coming back to the lodge after a full day of team-building on our challenge course, boating on the lake, and practicing archery at our shooting range. They can play group games in the gathering space or quiet down with a time of worship. 
• If you are looking for a spot to host an event, such as your child’s birthday party or a family reunion, Tekoa Foothills can also be rented for day use. The picnic shelter is a great spot to share a meal with family and friends, and day rentals can access other property amenities, such as hiking trails, the lake, the basketball court, the gaga ball pit, and adventure activities.
